PUERTAS GISMERO "Kangaroo" Fire Doors are a type of enclosure that combines the movement of two types of door: the horizontal sliding and the swinging, allowing the fire to be "cut" in spaces affected by up to three fire fronts.

This type is suitable to isolate different fire sectors in department stores like the escalators. The "kangaroo" door assembly can be fitted with a pedestrian door to allow evacuation in case of emergency.

When the fire detection system operates the assembly, the sliding door begins its closing movement while the swing leaf remains in its initial position, that is, folded and parallel to the sliding panel. When it reaches the end of the rail, the swinging part of door is deployed sectorizing the area.
